MoMA Exhibit Showcases Power of Landscapes

2.24.05 | San Francisco Chronicle | "Groundswell: Constructing the Contemporary Landscape" opens Friday at the Museum of Modern Art and runs through May 16. The display features 23 projects from around the world — some completed and some still conceptual — of abandoned, derelict or industrial sites that have been transformed into viable public space.  By DEEPTI HAJELA

Greenworld 2005: Sustainability Uncovered

2.23.05 | IIDA | The Northern Pacific Chapter of the IIDA hosts Greenworld, April 7 with keynote speaker Jean-Michel Cousteau, famed oceanographer, explorer, filmmaker, and son of the legendary Jacques Cousteau.  Jean-Michel has spent his life communicating to people of all nations and generations his love and concern for our planet. A trained architect, he founded the Ocean Futures Society in 1998 to carry on his father's work.
