Sales Representative & Account Manager

Compensation:

Base salary of $38,000.00 plus structured bonus plan and benefits package including health and dental.

Description:

International Materials Consultancy & Library seeking an experienced inside sales representative & account manager for our beautiful New York City office and library.  A background in design, architecture, or media sales helpful.

You will be responsible for generating new sales and maintaining current accounts for renewal.

Ideal candidates should have at least 3 years experience in a sales role. The candidate must be a closer with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.

We are seeking someone with positive professional energy, able to establish and build client relationships.

Candidate must be comfortable selling to designers of different disciplines from fashion to architecture, in one-on-one and larger group settings.

Must be detail-oriented, able to schedule and prioritize responsibilities and follow-through consistently to maintain the highest level of customer relations.

Working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook, is required; knowledge of Salesforce.com and PowerPoint very helpful.

MUST be able to cold-call new prospects to introduce and educate prospects about services.

Must be highly organized and tenacious with prospects to close accounts.

This position will report to the Director of Subscription Sales.
